Stylisation in Art

Stylisation - means to build rules for a certain look, that becomes a style.

It is all around you; think for a moment about how you categorise people and how
they look. A man walks down the street wearing skinny black jeans, some chains
hanging down, a trench coat that looks second hand, purple hair and pale makeup...
I could go on, What style are you labelling that in your head? What are the rules?
You would use your interpretation of those rules to recreate the style? If you wanted to!

What are the rules?
How do you replicate it? We are about to discuss this in class...

Above is a Padlet. You may have used one before. As we discuss this, write your ideas
down here too. Use a double-tap of the mouse pad anywhere on the padlet to get started.
